At She Sells Sea Shells we aim to provide our customers with outstanding customer service. If you require any help or advice about any of our products, please contact us and we will be very happy to help. Equally, if you have any feedback, we would love to hear from you!

Terms and conditions

  1. When buying goods or services on the internet, you are entering a legally binding contract. We must receive payment in whole for the price of the goods that you order before your order can be accepted.

  2. Refunds on returns are applicable to website / mail orders only. Purchases made directly at a fair or sale can be exchanged or a credit note issued.

  3. All returns must be within 10 working days of receipt of the goods. Upon receipt of goods, in their original condition and if a website or mail order, a full refund will be made within 7 days. The customer is responsible for the cost of return delivery. We will only refund the cost of postage to return an item if you have been sent incorrect goods or they are faulty or damaged. The refund will be credited either through Paypal, a bank transfer (please provide bank details) or a cheque can be sent.

  4. Orders will be dispatched within 21 days. Usually, however, we are able to dispatch within a week. However at certain times when working to maximum output we retain the right to delay delivery to a date convenient to us the Supplier.

  5. Once an order for a product to be specifically made for a client is placed it is not possible to cancel this order.

  6. Payment. Payment can be made through Paypal, bank transfer or cheque. Bank details will be sent out on request. Cheques should be made to Emily Nott-Bower.

  7. The prices payable for goods that you order are as set out in our website. All of our prices are stated in UK Pounds (£) Sterling and you will be billed in this currency.

  8. If you purchase from outside the UK, currency fluctuations and charges levied by your bank or card provider may make a difference to the amount billed on your credit/debit card.

  9. For Insurance purposes we recommend postage by Special Delivery available through the Post Office. Returned pieces remain the property of the customer until signed for and received by us.

  10. We will endeavor to supply all goods within the above Terms. All pieces are subject to availability. Due to the nature of the product and circumstances outside of our control it may not be possible to fulfill all orders.

 

Postage and delivery

DELIVERY OPTIONS

Once your order has been placed we aim to send it out on the same day, however, it can take up to three days to process your order – subject to payment authorisation and stock availability. If your goods are not currently available they will be dispatched as soon as they come into stock. If any item is sold out then we will advise you promptly and offer you an alternative.

UK DELIVERIES

Due to the retail value of our goods, most items cannot be posted out by standard First Class post.

We can offer our UK customers two methods of delivery:

STANDARD DELIVERY


Cost £4.32 – Royal Mail Second class signed for.  Orders can be delivered within 2-3 working days from date of dispatch and require a signature.

Please Note: Delivery times are only applicable to mainland UK. Unfortunately it is not guaranteed to certain areas including; Northern Ireland, Republic of Ireland, Scottish Islands, Isle of Man, Channel Isles, Isle of Wight, the Scilly Isles and certain postcodes. If in doubt please contact us.

EXPRESS DELIVERY


Cost £6.95 – Royal Mail Next Day Special Delivery. Orders delivered within 1 working day from date of dispatch and will require a signature. If you are not available to receive the parcel, then Royal Mail will automatically redeliver on the next working day, or you can collect from your nearest postal depot.

If you require next day delivery by 1.00 pm please place your order the day before by 12 noon and call customer services on 01208 831303 to let us know.

We cannot deliver express parcels on a Saturday.

If your order is urgent please contact us at emily@ssssjewellery.co.uk with the date you need it for when you place your order and we’ll do everything we can to help get it out quickly.

EUROPE & REST OF THE WORLD DELIVERIES

EUROPE: £9.50 for Airsure Special Delivery 3-5 Working Days (dependent on the total weight of the items purchased)

REST OF THE WORLD: £9.50 for Airsure Special Delivery (Only to Limited Destinations) 5-7 Working Days (dependent on the total weight of the items purchased).

REST OF THE WORLD: £15 for International Special Delivery to All Other Destinations 5-10 Working Days (dependent on the total weight of the items purchased).

Orders can be tracked whilst in the UK, and all deliveries do require a signature.

If your country is not on the drop down list, then please email us for a delivery quote.

IMPORT DUTIES

If your order is to be dispatched to a destination outside the European Union, you will be responsible for any customs or import duties levied once the package reaches your destination country. We regret that we have no control over such charges and cannot predict them.

Returns and exchanges

OUR RETURNS POLICY


If, for any reason, you are not happy with your purchases you can return them to us for a refund or exchange providing they are unused and in re-saleable condition:
The item(s) must be returned within 14 days (UK customers); 21 days (Europe excluding UK); 28 days (Rest of the World) of the invoice date. Returns received outside of the timeframe will be considered for a credit note only and will not be eligible for a refund.

Delivery is not eligible for refund.

If you cancel your order within 7 days after the day you receive your goods, and you cancel the whole order, we will refund the standard postage you paid, in accordance with the Distance Selling Regulations. If you paid for express delivery, we will only refund the cost of standard delivery. You will have to pay the costs of sending the order back to us.

If you cancel after the 7 days allowed under the Distance Selling Regulations or if you only cancel part of your order, we will not refund any postage charges.

All items must be returned in unused and saleable condition with original tags attached. We reserve the right to refuse items if they have been worn.

Please complete the Returns Form enclosed with your order as this will help speed up the refund process. You are entitled to a refund within 30 days of returning your item. Any comments regarding the reason for return are greatly appreciated.

The customer is responsible for the postage costs incurred when returning items. We recommend you obtain a proof of postage from your post office by using Royal Mail Registered Post or similar as we cannot be held responsible for returned items that do not reach us.

If you are returning a present we have to refund the person who paid for it. We are happy to exchange your gift but we will also have to inform the original purchaser.

RETURN OF FAULTY OR INCORRECT ITEMS


If the products you return are faulty, incorrect or damaged in transit, we will refund you the cost of the return postage, as well as the goods and your original postage and packing charge.

CANCELLATION OF AN ORDER


Cancellation Of An Order Prior To Dispatch Under the Consumer Protection (distance selling) Regulations 2000, you have a statutory right (exercisable up to and including the seventh working day after the day of delivery), to cancel your order for any reason and receive a full refund.

If you have recently placed an order with us and wish to cancel it, please email us at emily@ssssjewellery.co.uk quoting your order reference no, the date the order was placed, your name and postcode. You will receive written confirmation of the cancellation of your order within 24 hours, excluding weekends and Bank Holidays when you will receive confirmation on the following working day. As we start to process your order as soon as we receive it we are unable to change your order in most cases, however we do accept returns & exchanges as detailed in our returns policy above, if you find that your purchase is not quite right.

 

Payment

We accept all major debit and credit cards via Paypal who provide secure and convenient payment services. Your card details will never be stored or even seen by us. You can also pay by cheque, made payable to Emily Nott-Bower, but we do advise calling or emailing us first to avoid disappointment.
